Juvenile Law

Many people think that Juvenile court is a joke, a slap on the wrist, but it is not.  When juveniles are charged with a delinquent act, they face the very real possibility of becoming a part of the Criminal Justice system until the age of 21.  Yes, 21.  They can face detention, out of home placement and in extreme cases adult charges.  It is critical to realize how important proper representation is in a juvenile case from start to finish.  Children have all the same rights as an adult and they need someone who will be their voice in court.
